Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne, Police” S.A. announced that the first tank was installed at its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) and polypropylene (PP) project in Police.
The completion of the project and scheduled commencement has been postponed to 2023.
Details of the tank include-
- The total volume of the tank stood at 3485 m3 and the working volume stood at 2,800 m3.
- This ensures storage availability of 1,400 tons of propylene.
- Tank dimensions include the weight of 584.9 tons, length of 72.13 m, 8.9 m wide, and 11.13 m high.
According to the company, the propylene tank was completely domestically manufactured in Poland at the Gdynia Shipyard by Zakład Konstrukcji Spawanych FERRUM S.A.
