Electronics Industry
Electronics Industry provides water-treatment infrastructure and services for semiconductor, electronic-component and related advanced-manufacturing customers. Ultrapure-water production is a core capability, supplemented by wastewater treatment, water reclamation, facility maintenance and treatment chemistry. Semiconductor manufacturers require extremely low contaminant concentrations and consistent water quality, making process design, operating reliability and customer qualification critical. Kurita made several portfolio moves during 2025–2026 aimed at sharpening its strategic focus. The most significant divestiture involved Pentagon Technologies Group, its U.S.-based precision-tool cleaning business. Kurita classified the overseas precision-tool cleaning operation as discontinued from FY03/2026 and completed the Pentagon share transfer on June 30, 2026.
